Nice. So today we'll be talking about the WofloConf that happened very recently. Uh we were all excited about it for a long time and we it finally happened. Uh there were some mixed feelings here and there, but uh that's what we're here for. We're gonna be talking about this. So Daniel, did you did you check it out? Did you check out the WofloConf? Uh what do you think?
Yeah, partially I checked it out. Uh a couple of really cool features got released. And um yeah, a couple of interesting ones that I'm not really sure about, but we'll see how they turn out. So we're gonna discuss these uh today.
Like what do you think uh this conference based on or in comparison to the old conferences, uh do you think in this conference there was some exciting things or is it kinda similar to the one before or the ones before?
Um well I would say I would say the the main focus was on AI, I felt like lots of things where AI got integrated into Webflow and obviously like what else is gonna Webflow foc focus on if not AI, it's time to integrate it as much as we can, right? So yeah, I'm excited about those. I
feel like Yeah, true. AI AI was a big thing in this conference. Uh unfortunately, like in my opinion, I would I would have hoped that they would release improvements of current features rather than uh newer features. Um and I feel like you know it's becoming like the Apple conference. So you so you watch the Goffler conference, like the Apple conference, when they changed from iPhone sixteen to iPhone fifteen, you know, from fifteen To 16, it's like, oh now it's silicon, you know, it's made of um titanium or something like that. But I I feel like there should have been more uh improvement on the feature, especially like there has been some uh status problems lately. Uh, but that's just my opinion. But um that's I'll bring up this feature um nice collateral.
And we can uh just talk about them. Alright, so let me bring this up. Alright, so this is the basically the recap of all the features that were announced in this WEFLA conference. Uh what do you think Daniel? Which one should we start with? And w what do you think of uh these features?
Well, um I think I would just jump straight into the all the interesting AI stuff. Um like AI and SEO super important. Um AI um assistant is also really cool.
Yeah. Yeah, I mean um I saw I saw the preview they showed on on on the WofloConf and it was really cool. I feel like it's becoming something like you know lovable or or these AI coding tools. Uh but even better because you have the style panel and you have this uh you know where you can change styles, you can directly change things, and plus you have an assistant, AI assistant. That just uh works with your project. It's um it was really cool to see. I can't wait for it to be out with us. Um I I think the AI assistant was already there. There was some sort of an assistant before, uh, but this time it's taken to a whole new level. Yeah. The AI SEO though I I didn't catch up much with it, so maybe you could tell me more about this one.
Yeah, well the the AI SEO I think that's the I think that's the coolest of all, for at least in my end. Yeah, so um The AI SEO is basically the something that they should have actually or could have integrated, I think, even a year ago. Uh it's actually just pretty much just adding AI to those SEO fields that we've already had, like alt text or um open graph or meta text, metadata, stuff like that. So um really this should have been like um sort of like an autocomplete uh version, right? So it should have been there already. So it's it's it's good that it's already that it's here now, right? So Yeah, I'm I'm excited for that and this is gonna make um uh SEO better. And I really love that they I'm not sure if they coined the term that themselves.
How is AI becoming the central theme of the conference?
AEO so uh answer um engine optimization. Or um or if it's something that they've heard somewhere else, but I love this term, so yeah, it sounds w sounds way cooler than SCO. I don't know why.
