Of Brian Bishop, Bald Bryan, legendary cast member of the Adam Corolla show. He's on over 3,000 episodes, the majority of the episodes recorded.
We're currently approaching 4,500. Brian was there from the early days of the radio show. He was there all the way back at Love Line. He worked for Adam Corolla Too Late. He worked for Adam Corolla on one of the early sitcoms he was trying to uh do in the podcast days. There was a CBS one, then he did an NBC one. He worked on the pilot. He went from phone screener at Loveline to on-air cast member of a syndicated radio show. Millions of people woke up every morning and listened to him, his drops. Eventually in 2008, when he became more of an on-air cast member, he really got to know Brian, fall in love with him, his life, his journey. He got his diagnosis in 2009 when the radio show flipped formats and the podcast began.
Initially given six months to live. He fought it all this time, all these years. Unfortunately, he passed away, surrounded by his loved ones, his wife Christy and Tessa, his amazing daughter. The world doesn't feel the same without him. Feel so lucky I ever g got to know the guy. And for the handful of times throughout the years we got to spend time together. He was a really special man, and it changed the lives of everyone who knew him forever. It only feels fitting to continue to honor Brian by sharing more of his journey on the ACS podcast. Last weekend we got all the way up until the format switch, and I thought we'd play some more from there. Starting out with Adam Curl Show 338, an episode we've never yet played in Corolla Classics.
