Yeah, my first season. I was in year eleven at um in school and uh Collingwood came knocking and that was like we didn't have mobile phones then, so you actually had to be home to uh Actually accept a call and uh Uh my dad got a phone call from a third party, let's just say, from the Collingwood Football Club. Um, and the offer at that particular time to move over the next three years was $100,000 a year. Now, why that's significant is because I was on a massive amount of money over that period of time.
It was about five hundred dollars for a win and fifth uh sorry, five hundred dollars for a loss and fifteen hundred dollars a win. So it used to get me a b big gaming cherry ripe at uh at school um at lunch. Um but the massive contract that I signed, instead of actually signing with contract, is actually I've got my my contract here from nineteen ninety four. I couldn't find my nineteen ninety three one. You've still got it. I've still got it right here. So that's uh that's it right. I love that. I love that. You can read the details on if you like. What?

Um, but yeah, it was 20,000 base. So I had 20,000 base and it looks like I've um I was looking over that through this yesterday and I was sort of looked like it was fifteen hundred dollars a game. Um so and then club championship, I sort of threw um threw that in there um a as well and and that sort of covered off the ninety-four-95 season. And then the following year, if I just flicked over, so that was my two year contract. If I played Twenty games. I got thirty thousand dollar base. So that actually got increased. Um if I play if I played over twenty games, so very heavily figures people are getting out in the

So it just shows that he's not a very good negotiator at all. Um but uh and Shano Sullivan, ironically, was uh was the guy who I I think in sort of um started the the conversation around some of these contracts before he obviously moved on, but um but that was the first
