We watch a lot of trials this evening. is practically unheard of in a case this big. It's certainly a murder case. This never happens. I mean, this is so rare. As any defense attorney will tell you, they always advise their client not to speak. And one of the main reasons why they always seemingly encourage their clients not to testify is because they will be cross-examined. It's not going to go well. And it ends up doing more harm than good. So to hear that this salacious trial, that has so many hallmarks of a crazy made-for-TV movie that you wouldn't even believe.
You had the au pair testify, which was significant. And now you have the husband and the lover testifying. Holy moly. And I think you all are up on this case happening in Fairfax County, Virginia. But Brendan Banfield accused of plotting with his au pair who he was having an affair with plotting to kill his wife and another man that they set up to take the blame for the wife's murder. This has a lot to do with digital forensics. And that is where the battle is being fought right now. Robes, we said, where are they going with this? What is the defense doing? What are they setting up? Today, they started dropping bombs. Today was holy hell. Because yesterday, if you all have been listening along with us, I believe we were saying things like, okay, the blueprint is coming together.
