What recent decision has President Trump made regarding Diddy's pardon?

Michelle Williams 0:00
This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed human.
Jorge Ramos 0:04
Hola, I'm Jorge Ramos. This week on The Moment, we take a look at Venezuela's uncertain future in a conversation with two people who have directly advised U.S. presidents. Juan González during the Obama and Biden administrations. We're really good at invading countries. We're very bad at nation building. And Carlos Díaz-Rosillo during Trump's two terms. I can guarantee you that nobody in the Trump administration likes Delcy Rodriguez. Listen to The Moment with Jorge Ramos and Paola Ramos on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

It's a new year, and on the podcast Health Stuff, we're resetting the way we talk about our health.
Hari Kondabolu 0:42
Which means being honest about what we know, what we don't know, and how messy it can all be. I like to sleep in late and sleep early. Is there a chronotype for that, or am I just depressed? Health Stuff is about learning, laughing, and feeling a little less alone.

And this January, we're going to go on the road to beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada, to cover the Consumer Electronics Show, tech's biggest conference. Better Offline CES coverage won't be the usual rundown of the hottest gadgets or biggest trends, but an unvarnished look at what the tech industry plans to sell or do to you in 2025. I'll be joined by David Roth at Defector and the writer Edward Ongueso Jr. With guest appearances from Behind the Bastards Robert Evans, It Could Happen Here's Gare Davis, and a few surprise guests throughout the show. Listen to Better Offline on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever else you get your podcasts from.

Hey there, folks. It is Friday, January 9th. And yes, Diddy is sitting in prison, but things actually just got worse for him. And with that, welcome to this episode of Amy and TJ just got works robes because he has very few options for getting out of prison.

How did Trump and Diddy's relationship evolve over the years?

T.J. Holmes 3:16
And one of them apparently just went away. It's coming out of D.C.
Dr. Laurie Santos 3:21
Yes, it is. And look, we have been waiting to see if President Trump would pardon or consider pardoning Diddy. This has been on the table from the get-go, before his trial, during his trial, after his trial. He has been asked, the president has been asked repeatedly, hey, would you consider pardoning Diddy?
T.J. Holmes 3:43
And he was asked one more time by the New York Times. And this was the one and the reason we were hopping on giving the update. Robes is because he gave an answer like he had never given before. And we're actually getting the most official, I guess, response and confirmation that a request has been made.
Dr. Laurie Santos 4:00
That's right. So Trump has revealed for the first time ever that Diddy actually sent him a letter asking for a pardon. And for the first time ever, We heard the president say he is not considering granting Diddy's request for that pardon.
