One of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development goals is to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, for their own sake and for the sake of economic growth and development. The UN has a number of specific targets that address violence, discrimination, and other harmful practices and there are other third party organizations doing work in this area as well. Is there something procurement can do to move companies towards global gender equality goals? That is the topic of this conversation with David Latten, Head of Global Indirect Procurement at Logitech.
