Josh's research is being done in the context of a doctoral dissertation, which is titled “Unconventional Pathways to Freedom: A Refined Conceptualization of Substance Addiction, Recovery, and the Transformative Process.” This research takes the form of a qualitative, “grounded-theory” study.
