What is Christian Hull's current financial situation?
Christian, you are a self-proclaimed hot money mess.
Help, help, help, help, I need help. No worries. Look at the regret all over your face.
This is the hardest client I've ever had. Useless. So I wrote down in your first money coaching session all these quotes from you. I'm just not good with numbers. I'm a control freak, but I don't know what I'm doing. I don't know what I can or can't do, but I did buy a cow. Let's pause on that one.
I'd call my dad the most extreme tight ass to exist. He would buy one single Mars bar and then cut it into thin slices and we'd all pick it, all six of us, off a plate.
Wow.
Like we were living in the Great Depression. That was pretty much the moment when the stress of money started. Over six months, half a million dollars came in.
Yeah.
Having no financial experience. I didn't realise I had to pay tax on that. And so what I'd done was I'd expanded the business. I'd rented an office. I'd hired two staff. And then my accountant was like, slips me the, you know, here's your tax bill. Here's this, here's that. And I was like, what, sorry?
Have there been moments where you're like, what am I doing? And regretted this avenue?

Christian, you are famous. Help, help, help, help. I need help. You are famous for review videos. If I was to review your spending, what would my reaction be?
It would be, dear ChatGPT, how is this human being alive?
How does Christian Hull make money from his business?
How just what are you doing? Yeah. Like shake me.
Well, that's why you're the perfect person for this.
I mean, you've seen it.
You've already had a look. I've had a little look, yes. But you're the perfect person for this because you are a self-proclaimed hot money mess.
Yes. Here's the thing I think with a lot of creatives, we can be creative. Yes. But something has to give up in our brains and that is the numerical section. And I know a lot of creatives who just go, like my financial crisis, why don't we just print more money? Mm-hmm. Right? No, that makes so much sense to me. Just print more money. Yes. And people have tried to explain to me inflation, oils, minerals, blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, cool, just don't tell us you're printing more money and then crisis solved.
We might park that one for another money coaching session. Yeah. Yeah, there's lots of different ways that we could solve things, but we're going to focus on you being a hot money mess. While we can't change inflation and the economy, we can change your finances.
I hope so.
Yeah. So we've already had a couple of money coaching sessions. And this session, well, this podcast, we're going through what the story is about you, the hot money mess, and then a bit of direction. What are the things that you're going to focus on? What do you want to change? All that kind of stuff. So I'm so excited to get into this session.
So am I. This needs to happen for me. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I'm in such a great position now financially, but I still feel the exact same amount of stress that I did maybe two years ago when I was, you know, in $200,000 debt.
