Tasmania is well known for producing some of the largest black bream in the country, and some of the best bream fishing is right on the doorstep of the southernmost capital, Hobart. The Derwent Estuary has a somewhat chequered history, but its rocky shorelines, extensive docks and expanses of seagrass host an amazing bream fishery. In this episode local fishing personality Plinio Taurian explains how to fish the Derwent for bream on lures. Plinio outlines the tackle and techniques he uses and walks us through precisely how he fishes his favourite lures for bream.
