Chapter 1: What preparations do The Boys make for their road trip to Cessnock?
All right, well, the car's packed. We've got a road trip on the way, brought to you by BCF. First road trip for the family. Dad hasn't helped pack a lick. It's annoying how someone, he's quite an organized man, but he doesn't, the only thing he's not organized with is time.
Hello, mate. Hello. Hey, I've just been studying the weather charts. I reckon we should be hitting the water by 800 hours.
We're going to Cessnock.
Oh, okay. I was going to say, there's a nor'wester to come kick it in pretty soon. We want to be on the water by then.
Nor'wester. You wouldn't even know where north and west is. Northwest. Yeah.

Chapter 2: How do The Boys plan to handle the weather during their trip?
Yeah, I'll point to it now. There.
That's not, that wouldn't be there, because if that, if the east is behind us.
No, no, no. Well, this bay swings around, so yeah, that's right. North. and west don't come in here after not helping park and then act like you run the show you know what i mean you guys are my seed who will uh you'll concede Is this a, do you reckon this is podcast first, people doing it in a car? Oh, what do you reckon, mate? Do you reckon we could sing?
Has anyone ever done a thing called like, everyone's sitting in a car doing karaoke?
Okay, true. Is that ever? Yeah, yeah, I know. But not, we've got our mates over at BCF, mate. We're doing it more in a, not a, we're not doing a singing thing. We're rugged. I mean, we've got our shirts on. And it's bloody BCF fun, mate.
Tell you what, I do like myself in car key.
Is this our first road trip together? Yeah, I've never done a road trip with either of you, I don't think.
I've always wanted to.
Really?

Chapter 3: What memories do The Boys share from past road trips?
So you go in. So there's me, Gaz, and Jack. Jack goes, oh, I don't want to be here without Cooper. I'm going to go into the caravan. So it's me and Gaz just laying with each other in this two-man tent, just with it pouring outside. And I thought, OK, right. I said, Gaz, well, I don't want to stay in here if the boys aren't here. So I went in. Gaz, because he's so stubborn, He stayed in the tent.
It turned into an electrical storm. He woke up in the morning just like he'd been dragged through a swamp.
Is Gaz a good camper? In terms of setting up a tent and that, because you're not handy, but I imagine him to be quite handy with that sort of stuff.
Yeah, he's very, very handy because, mate, he's a groundsman at a few vineyards. He worked in the coal mines for a long time.
Do you remember that radio event that you had on that weekend that time and it was fathers and sons?
Yeah.
And you brought us and then Gaz came along as well and basically all the dads are getting on the grog one night and then the next morning all the dads come into our tent and go, yeah, the old man was telling so many great stories last night. Oh yeah? What time did he finish up? And then one by one they all go, nah, he was still around the campfire. Nah, he was still around the campfire.
It was 8 in the morning, we go out, and he's passed out almost in the campfire.
Oh, was he? Yep, almost in the campfire. He was one small roll away from basically being incinerated.

Chapter 4: What camping stories do The Boys recount involving Gary Johns?
How would you be the farmer?
Well, you never know what's around the corner with your mum, dear, you know. One in three people, one in three people, well, actually more than that now. What? Divorce? Yep, two out of five people divorce. Really? Yep. Where did that stat come from? You've just got to make sure. You've got to make sure you find the right person. Tell you what, I do get a little bit... Car sick?
You get car sick.
Even men of adventure get car sick.
I wouldn't call you a man of adventure. Do you find that you get sick if you're not driving?
I do a bit, yeah. I get that all the time, eh?
That's why I like to drive.
There's going to be a service station up there. Just get a water if that's okay, boys. In and out, real quick.
I've got a water here.

Chapter 5: Is Gaz a good camper, and what skills does he have?
Yeah, go on.
So a panda bear walks into the bar and says to the barman, could I have a... Beer, please. And the barman goes, why the long pause?
What did he say?
Because the long pause.
Yeah. That's not your best one. Do canners have long pause? I don't know if you'd even call them pause or more so clause.
Okay, what about a Canadian brown bear goes into a bar and says, I'll have a... beer, and he says to the Canadian brown bear, why the long paws?
Do you think that's too similar to the horse walks into a bar? That says, why the long face? Do you know what I mean?
I think it's a better joke than that.
Yeah, I think it's different. But I think given how, given the horse one's been around for such a long time, I don't know if you could just jump in and throw another animal that has a long feature.

Chapter 6: What are The Boys' thoughts on driving and road trip dynamics?
You know how people drive their cars onto the beaches and that? You've seen that?
Yep.
Did you ever do that? Mm-hmm. See, I don't trust it. All the time. I don't trust that I wouldn't get stuck in the sand.
Well, if you do, well, if you're going to drive there, you've just got to have a couple of planks out the back to get stuck in the sand.
We've got them in the back.
There you go. We've got them here. Perfect. And you place them underneath the back wheels. There you go. Or unless it's a front wheel drive. Front wheels.
Have you ever had to do that personally?
Oh look, I've been there while someone's done it.
Have you ever, I haven't, so I'm not like trying to catch you out here, changed the title? Yeah. You have? Yep. Plenty of times. You know how I know that's not true?

Chapter 7: How do The Boys feel about silence during the drive?
No, I swear to God. I swear to God. Because when I first had tyre trouble, one of your mates had to help me out do it.
I'll tell you what happened, though. These days, back in the day, tyres were a lot easier to change. These days, mate, the tyres come in some sort of thing, you've got to pull them out. It's very strange. You sound convincing. Because you've got to put it on a jack.
Yeah, the jack's okay. It's easy. Up it goes. I think it's quite dangerous. Don't a lot of people like it? Yeah, you can lose it.
You've got to be careful. Very, very careful. You don't do it on a hill. I don't know.
No, but isn't there, there's a jack spot. There's like a point where you have to jack it.
You do.
Because I remember, who's got the video? Someone has a video. Let's see if I can find it, dig it back up, put it with this. But Craig Bellamy was in the car park of the training ground and he had to replace the tyre. And he just jacked it up, but not on the jack point. And one of the boys coming behind him was filming him laughing and then saw that he hadn't put it on the jack point.
And if he hadn't gone there, he was like, that was going to fall on you. Because he just put it in a random spot.
What an idiot. Did that player get selected that week? Someone tells me he did.
