13 Burgos - A city full of surprises, some good, some not so good.

13. Burgos. Burgos is a city is all about the Camino de Santiago, food and wine. Well that's how we saw it anyway.  Listen as we have a very unusual and stressful arrival in Burgos, which turned out to be one of my favourite times in Spain.  You will here are how walked a small portion of the Camino as we discovered the old buildings of the university.  We had the most fun at a tapas bar with Jose - or Pepe - as he likes to be called.  Listen to why he received the Koala award and where he put it.  Then we had one of Lyle's favourite days visiting the tiny village of Lerma and had a tour of a boutique winery.  All the details plus heaps more in this episode.  Find out more or see show notes and pictures to go with this episode here.
