She's also a model, poet, pageant titleholder, and certified life coach. Desh obtained her MBA from Strayer University and her Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University. She's been a pageant judge and her writing has been published in Essence Magazine, Bustle, and the Huffington Post. Desh was featured in Dr. Joe Vitale's The Secret Mirror.
