7 ~ A shock throat cancer journey with my beautiful Mum, Keely

In this podcast episode, I interview my beautiful Mum, Keely. We dive into her experience with throat cancer, from diagnosis to treatment and coming out the other side. She explains in detail, the emotional and physical toll of his illness, and how she leaned on her medical professionals and loved ones for support. She speaks about the treatments she had for throat cancer, including surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, and the side effects of those. We discuss the misconceptions about throat cancer, the importance of early detection and listening to your body, as well as ways to support those going through a similar experience. She also speaks through what she has learned throughout her experience.
