Reflections on Being the Eldest Child

27 Mar 2018

Description

Today I wanted to set a reminder to myself but also share with you something we often forget especially if we are the first or eldest child. As parents our first child is the one we learned the most from. They are pushing against our knowledge and setting new territory. This can mean that, sometimes, they get the brunt of our worries and fears, leaving siblings the path that a little easier to walk down. So in this podcast I share some tips of how I'm going to acknowledge this with my son, in an attempt to soften the first-child syndrome. Enjoy
