EP136 I Had an Identity Crisis Now I use my art to glorify God.

I am Joshua , In 2016 I created an identity called “Sicology”, and I lost myself trying to be someone I’m not. I used Sicology as my identity for short films, photography, music videos, and even my own music. For 5 years I chased my dream of being a Director and Photographer in the music and film industry. I’ll admit, I got to do some pretty cool things, things that the younger me could only dream of. I made documentaries in Tokyo, photographed fashion weeks in Paris, and went on a music tour as a videographer. I worked with celebrities I’d never thought I work with. But… I was losing myself and my identity more and more. My old identity doesn’t just represent “the old me”. Sicology represented pain, anger, pride, selfishness, ego, lust, and greed; all for the sake of fame and being “the best artist". This is my testimony. This is who I was, but no longer who I am. This is a close on this chapter of my life. I am excited about what the future holds, and am equally excited to take this journey with all of you guys.
