Ep 55. Surviving the Holidays (Part 3), Gratitude
26 Nov 2019
It feels appropriate on this Thanksgiving week that we would talk about cultivating gratitude. The truth is, we sometimes laugh at it being referred to as "the most wonderful time of the year" because for many of us, it doesn't feel so wonderful. Many times, the pain and suffering experienced during the holiday system come from believing that something is lacking, something is broken or missing in our lives. We believe that something is wrong. That life should be different. In this episode, we're exploring why our brain defaults to looking for what's going wrong in our lives, how it doesn't always serve us so well, and how we can learn to cultivate a posture of gratitude in our lives - not just during the holidays - but everyday.
