We welcome most new beginnings in life - they feel exciting and fresh, full of possibility. The part we often forget is that new beginnings mean that we have to become a beginner within those new circumstances. New marriages make us beginners at being wives. Babies make us beginner mothers. New jobs require us to begin fresh learning new skills, responsibilities and new co-workers. New seasons of life often lead us to become beginners once again, because we're living in a set of circumstances we never have before. Being a beginner can be hard, but it's impossible to avoid and essential to growing, evolving and stepping into who we're becoming. In this episode, we're talking about what it looks like to let yourself be a beginner.
