‎نقرأ اليوم عن إحباط إيليا بعد هروبه من إيزابل ، وكيف أخبره الله أن "يقوم ويأكل" ليقويه في الرحلة المقبلة. الاب. نشير إلى كيف يدعونا الله لاستمداد القوة للرحلة أيضًا ، حتى في نهاية حياتنا الأرضية. القراءات هي ١ ملوك ١٩ - ٢٠، ٢ أخبار الأيام ٢٠ ، نشيد الأنشاد ٦. Today we read about Elijah's discouragement after fleeing from Jezebel, and how God tells him to "arise and eat" to strengthen him for the journey ahead. We point out how God calls us to draw strength for the journey as well, even at the end of our earthly lives. The readings are 1 Kings 19-20, 2 Chronicles 20, and Song of Solomon 6. I am reading using the Arabic Jesuit Catholic version from Holy Bible App which can be accessed on the app/website. You can also listen to the Bible in a Year podcast in English with Fr Mike Schmitz who did an amazing job. I am using lot of his comments in my reflection as well commentary from different trustworthy resources.
