Rob also shares that around the same time he was filming this show that his father passed away, and shares some memories and experiences he got to share with his dad over the years. We also discuss Jeanie Buss saying the Lakers will “definitely” retire LeBron’s number in LA, and whether or not he has earned enough Lakers-cred to warrant that honor. And if they retire his jersey, do they build him a statue?? Rob also discusses the Lakers weakest link and how Rui was NOT it, plus Dame’s warning from NBA is not a good sign for Dame landing in Miami. Plus no one on the show thinks Jimmy Butler can demand Jaylen Brown money, simply due to his age and the Heat’s financial situation. And on the heels of that we take a look ahead to the supermax deals coming due in the next two years, and who ends up being worth that paycheck.
