Fixing the world: Creative disruption is ushering in new leaders, new model

It's common cause that many of the world's systems are antiquated with their shortcoming badly exposed in this Information Age. But during a period of supposed enlightenment, why has so much of humanity regressing? And why have great nations elected populist leaders who quite obviously put their own interests ahead of those who gave them their power?
