Trump and Canada Bounce Around on Tariffs

Ontario later announced it would suspend that 25% surcharge on electricity sent to the US. Ontario Premier Doug Ford and US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick announced the change in a joint statement on social media, in which the pair said they would meet Thursday in Washington. Trump then commented to reporters at the White House that he would take another look at planned tariffs on Canada.
