Karen, we begin in Arizona this morning, the latest in the search for Savannah Guthrie's mother, Nancy. Authorities have apparently released a man who was detained in connection with her disappearance. The man who only wanted to be identified as Carlos said he was detained after a traffic stop. He spoke with reporters outside his home in Rio Rico, Arizona.

A video posted on X showed a masked individual wearing gloves approaching a front door with what appeared to be a handgun in a holster carrying a large backpack. Nancy Guthrie is the mother of Today Show anchor Savannah Guthrie. She was reported missing February 1st. Authorities think she was taken against her will with the suspect disconnecting the camera doorbell.

Well, we do have some tragic news out of Canada overnight, Nathan. At least 10 people are dead, 25 others injured. This is after a mass shooting in a remote town in Western Canada. Eight people died after shots were fired at a school in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, including a woman whom police believe to be the shooter. Authorities say two more people were found dead at a nearby home.

House Speaker Mike Johnson's been using legislative procedures to delay these votes, but three Republicans joined with Democrats in blocking his latest attempt. Republican Congressman Marlon Stutzman of Indiana says the president should have the authority to impose emergency tariffs.

Lutnick says he did visit the convicted sex offender's private island in 2012. Here's an exchange between Lutnick and Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen.

Did you in fact make the visit to Jeffrey Epstein's private island? I did have lunch with him as I was on a boat going across on a family vacation. My wife was with me, as were my four children and nannies. I had another couple with, they were there as well with their children, and we had lunch on the island.
