News when you want it with Bloomberg News Now, I'm Amy Morris. The Supreme Court seems poised to reject President Trump's restrictions on birthright citizenship. The president was there for the arguments, something no president has done before. ACLU legal director Cecilia Wang urged the justices to declare President Trump's executive order unconstitutional. She spoke of the Congress that drafted the 14th Amendment.
They wanted to grow this country. They wanted to make sure we had a citizenry to populate the military, to settle the country, and we can't take the current administration's policy considerations into account to try to re-engineer and radically reinterpret the original meaning of the 14th Amendment.
Justice Samuel Alito reminded the administration's lawyer, John Sauer, that the order could impact a substantial number of undocumented residents.
There are people who have established roots and that raises a humanitarian problem. that the United States' rule of nearly unrestricted birthright citizenship is an outlier. Every nation in Europe has a different rule, and the notion that they have a huge humanitarian crisis I don't think is a strong argument.
Trump left after about an hour, later posting on social media, quote, We are the only country in the world stupid enough to allow birthright citizenship. The court is expected to issue a ruling in early summer. SpaceX has filed confidentially for an initial public offering, bringing the company closer to delivering the biggest ever listing. Anthony Hughes is following the story for Bloomberg News.

And I think all the body language we've seen in recent, even in just the last two or three days, we've seen a number of stories about different things that are happening around the deal. And it's really sort of indicated that it's full steam ahead and everyone's pretty confident they can get this done actually by June.
Bloomberg's Anthony Hughes on Bloomberg Intelligence. The draft IPO registration submitted to the SEC shows that SpaceX could seek a valuation in the IPO of more than $1.75 trillion. Former Vice President Mike Pence says Iran has been a problem for 47 years, and he's glad President Trump took the fight to Iran.
I'm proud of our troops. I'm also proud that President Trump pulled the trigger and made the decision to move against Iran. Simply cannot allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon, but to be able to hit the regime and simply say that the time of you sowing terror across the region are over. I think was action whose time has come.
Former Vice President Mike Pence on balance of power. Now the president is set to address the nation tonight. A White House official says Trump will provide an update on the war's progress and a two to three week timetable for its end. Trump told Reuters he'll also use the time to criticize NATO for its perceived lack of support in the military operation. NATO Supreme Allied Commander Pierre Vandier argued that the alliance should overcome internal tensions together and needs to quickly adapt to shocks.
