Charlie discusses the controversy over the San José's cargo, estimated at $1.7 billion, currently the subject of a number of lawsuits (no surprise), and this summer's tragedy of the submersible that imploded while traveling down to investigate the Titanic. A expert in diving and underwater research, as well as the technological advances in this work, Charlie has also strived for decades to recognize and preserve these artifacts and explores today on the show the various considerations that must go into underwater treasure hunting.
