Chapter 1: Why did Dante Moore decide to stay at Oregon?
You said you have a $50 million proposition? Well, I didn't make it, but somebody else is making it, and they're betting on themselves. And that happens to be Dante Moore, the quarterback out of Oregon. If he would have come out in the draft this year, he would have easily been the second quarterback taken.
I don't know if the Jets would have taken him with the number two overall pick or not, but I don't think he would have gotten past the 10th pick, which would have meant that he would have been guaranteed close to $50 million. And he decided to go back to Oregon. Oregon signed Dylan Rayola, who was the quarterback at Nebraska last year. They gave him a pretty nice nil signing bonus.
So very interesting decision, I thought, by Dante Moore yesterday.
Well, you said you wanted him.
Well, no, I do. I wanted him to stay in. But I don't want to tell a person what to do with their own money, though. That's the thing. And then when you realize that... how much he would have been guaranteed as a first-round pick as a quarterback would have been significant money.
And somebody else may have liked him better than the Jets did, and maybe the Jets could have traded out of that second pick to allow, say, whoever who wants a quarterback like Dante Moore. But, look, I like the kid. I think he needs to play more in college, which is what I've been saying for months now. And I'm glad he made the decision, but it is a $50 million bet on himself.
Yeah, and I think this is great for the Jets because they're not going to have the pressure to draft him. And next year, from all indications, there's going to be a deeper and better quarterback class than this year. And I think that this is probably the best way to build a team if you're the Jets. You're still going to be right back up there.
You're still going to have a ton of draft capital with all the trades and everything else you've made. They're probably not going to win more than four or five games as it is. So they can get their quarterback next year in the draft position. Most likely. So this is very good. And just one note on that Dylan Raiola. Everybody said, well, he's going to transfer. He transferred over to Oregon.
And now Dante Moore is going to come back and play. He fractured. He broke his leg last year.

Chapter 2: What are the implications of Dante Moore's decision for the Jets?
Good morning.
Good morning. Brought to you by Chef IQ. Precision cooking. Effortless results. ChefIQ.com. So you got the Bills. You got, obviously, all the Harbaugh stuff. You got the Bills on Bronco Sunday. You know who's doing that game is Nansen Romo. Yeah. That's right. So Romo went on with Adam Schein yesterday. Okay, a couple of CBS guys.
Yes, and we did find out maybe a reason why Romo was off his game just a little bit as Adam said to him, I hear you were kind of sick during the broadcast, and here was Romo.
We had a bunch of guys sick, but yeah, we were just grinding through it. But you're not going to miss a playoff game. It's too much fun. And by the way, we've got a few records. It's been fun watching them. And our co-crew and everyone gets so excited about it. It's fun to watch these guys. It's a good one. It's always special when you get a bunch of people watching.
It is playoff season, so it's important.
So he didn't want to miss, make sure he had power through.
So he was saying that he was bad on the broadcast?
I'm not saying that. I'm saying for people that were killing him on the broadcast, he was sick.
I mean, we've come in here with all sorts of illnesses, and I mean, we might sound worse, but my brain doesn't go haywire. Just trying to help out Tony here a little bit. I mean, it's not like I had the mini cold for the last week.
