The FAA has closed down all flights going in and out of El Paso, Texas and any flights getting near El Paso to a 10-mile radius for 10 days. So if you are an airplane that's going from one place to another and you're getting near El Paso, you can't.
If you're a plane that's trying to take off from El Paso, you can't. If you're a plane that's going to land in El Paso, you can't. And it's for 10 days, and they have not given a reason why. From February 10th through the 20th, the FAA has done this. Nobody knows why, which leads to speculation, leads to conspiracy theories, leads to all sorts of different things on social media, as we always see. And it would be very helpful if they would just say why. Now, there's a lot of things going on, I would think, that... One could be drug cartel related. Right. That could be one issue. I would think that there are other security issues that may be happening that we're not aware of. But you would think that they would give you a reason why.
But when they put something out like this and as vague as it is, now it creates like a certain. level of panic. Well, especially in this day and age with everybody and conspiracies and social media and this and that. It's craziness, obviously, but you're right. There's got to be a good reason why they're not telling people.
What are the reasons behind the El Paso airspace closure?
They came out and they basically said special security reasons. But no specifics, just special security reasons. So I'm trying to think of, because of geographically where it is, what goes on in that area, To me, it sounds like special security reasons are trying to keep something from flying into that area or trying to keep something from somehow getting into the airport. All I can think of makes me think of drug cartels. Yeah, so you think in the... If we put this in sports talk terms here, the number one overall pick in the what the hell's going on in El Paso draft would be cartel-related. It's got to be either that or border-related. Like if we're doing Family Feud and we ask 100 people, show me cartel-related.

Number two on the draft of what the hell is happening in El Paso, Texas. I will say... Remember, special security reasons. Is the president anywhere near El Paso over the next 10 days? 10 days, though? I'm going to say the number two reason on the board is aliens. Okay, that's number two. Al, do you have somebody? I hope it's aliens. Like they said, listen, we'll be there. Meet us in El Paso. We're going to be, you know, get all your planes out of the way. We got a big ship coming. Okay, so you're thinking that it's aliens. Any other thing that you can think of? No, it just seems like.

Another one that you could throw in there, but I don't think is a possibility, but people will speculate, is some sort of spreadable disease type of thing. But then again, it's like they would have to tell the people around El Paso that are on the ground That this is happening. So that's why. And nobody's been alerted to that. So that's why I don't think it's that. Why wouldn't the transportation secretary, Sean Duffy, come out and just say, look, this is what it is, as opposed to letting all of us sit here like. The obvious answer to that is they believe that the speculation is better than the panic that this might cause.
