Chapter 1: What were the highlights of the Texans vs. Steelers game?
fair to say the Texans clobbered the Steelers specifically in the fourth quarter last night. 30-6 was the final. This was one of the big defensive plays Houston made.

There There you go. Not chased away. He just ran it in for a score. You get another Aaron Rodgers sack on the night, another hit on Aaron Rodgers, and that was certainly part of the deal. Kevin Harlan, the call, Westwood won. They also got an interception return for a touchdown, 50 yards, and Bullock to cap the scoring at 30-6. Yes, they did get a 13-yard touchdown run from Woody Marks.
You had a touchdown pass as well in this game from C.J. Stroud to Christian Kirk, but defense, defense, defense. This is Texans head coach D'Amico Ryans.
It was an outstanding defensive performance. One of the best that I've seen versus a really talented offense, a talented quarterback who's played at a high level for a long time. So I'm proud of our defensive performance. I think this is the best performance we've had in our team history. Dominant.

If that isn't the worst play of his career, when he watches that back, I don't know what possibly could be worse. The amazing thing, too, on that particular play, Aaron Rodgers takes a hit to the head. Well, yeah, of course.
Just like Justin Herbert took a hit to the head. I guess we're not calling those anymore. Well, I mean, yeah. That's supposed to hit the guy. Seems arbitrary. That's what I'm saying. Like, all of a sudden, here we are in the playoffs, and two quarterbacks have gotten hit in the head, and normally during the regular season, those are flags. Here was C.J. Stroud.

Chapter 2: How did D'Amico Ryans react to the Texans' defensive performance?
It's all about, you know, moving forward and, you know, trying your best to, you know, flush it and keep going. So, you know, I thought, you know, every time we had a bounce back, you know, we made more plays. I'm proud of our guys for having a little bit of resilience in those moments.

For either of those two guys to be on the hot seat is... It's really apropos of where we're at as a society and a league because obviously Matt's done a lot of great things in Green Bay and we had a lot of success. Mike T's had more success than damn near anybody in the league. for the last 19, 20 years.
But no playoff success since 2016, which is why a lot of the fans have had enough. Houston has now won nine straight games after that 3-5 start, which is really remarkable. Niners at 10. It's crazy how good they've been. Nico Collins, though, did leave with a concussion in this game, so I'll have to keep an eye on him this week. It's really the only major injury they had.
I know their safety read went out, but then he came back in and played again. He had a little bit of a knee, but I think that was the only injury that they had coming out of this game. So they're going to be pretty much ready to roll, maybe with the exception of Nico Collins. But the one good thing for them last night is that they were able to run the ball against the Steelers.
