A desire to create meals that were tasty, nutritious, and affordable also led to his career as "The Poor Chef”, which gave him the opportunity to share what he had learned about feeding a family for less money. After a personal health crisis struck him, he changed his focus to be a voice and a force for serious change in the health industry. The Diabetic You documentary, website, and movement came out of that determination to educate and inspire people around the world, and the world is learning about Charles' war against diabetes. He is the creator of the reality TV series Reversed, a documentary about stopping the destruction of uncontrolled diabetes.
