Lots has changed in all our lives. And it's fun, you know, for me and my family to take the trip. And I don't do a lot of shows lately, especially. I haven't done much touring at all the last couple of years. And I probably won't be doing a ton coming up because I just, you know, I got little kids and I'm trying to, I just love being a dad. So it's special for me to come out and do these events.
So that's interesting. Your priorities are changing as you're getting a little bit older, are they?
No, they were always my priorities were always the same. I just think that I think my my mindset has changed. I think that I realize that I only have so much time in this life and I'll never get that time back, especially with, you know, I got my littlest is three and I just can't miss it, man. I just can't. It's just too much stuff happening every day.

New words and little kisses in the middle of the night and sometimes some pee in the bed in the middle of the night. But even those things, dude, I don't want to miss. And so even these concerts that I'm doing, they're coming with me.
And do you find when you're on tour, do you pee in the bed as well? Or is it less so when you're in a hotel room?
No, I don't need to be on tour to pee in the bed. I'll just pee in the bed anywhere, depending on how many beers I have and how much time it takes to get up to use the bathroom.
I mean, really. Really? Who has time for that? So listen, your dad was away a lot, of course, wasn't he? When you were a kid, he was a commercial fisherman. Is that something that's on your mind? Was that hard for you as a kid?
You know, it was hard, Brendan, but also at the same time, I think it informed who I'd become as an adult. I think I had a lot of respect for my dad. I knew how hard it was for him to go, and I knew that he loved us a ton, but it also gave me a real... He inspired me, and I mean, it wasn't hard to look at him and his work ethic and appreciate that, you know? And I, you know, going out, and later in my life, going out there with him as a crewman on that commercial seining boat, you know, it really made me a better, It made me more appreciative. I think when I was lucky enough to find success and fame and all of that, I think that I understood that, you know, what I did was so easy compared to what he had done.
And so, you know, it's funny because you get off stage, Brandon, and, you know, people in my camp would say like, oh, my God, you worked so hard that And I would think to myself, I'd look at my little baby hands and I'd go like, like, these things are pretty soft.
