So, of course, Michael stops to talk to this guy and we just proceed into the bookstore without him. I don't I literally don't even think about it. Right. This is a normal occurrence. So we do our shopping and I go to check out and I pay for all the books and we're leaving. And Michael goes, oh, did you pay for that book of mine? I'm like, yeah. He's like, I already bought it.
What?
What do you mean you already bought it? He's like, yeah. I met the author standing outside on the street corner. Stop. And I even paid extra to get him to sign it. No. Are you serious? I go, Michael, that guy obviously shoplifted it and then sold it for double outside. Oh, he got me too.
