We are closing out a chapter for TNA Wrestling. That is right. Today, the Access TV era has come to an end. Today was the last show on Access TV, and we are moving on next week. It is the premiere of TNA on AMC. There's a lot of excitement surrounding that. TNA has been doing a hell of a job promoting it, getting their TNA. Talent out there talking about it, promoting the show, uh, all of the things that you need to do in order to get people hyped. And I feel, I feel like there's enough interest right now in people wanting to see how AMC impacts TNA as a wrestling promotion and how it continues to grow for the year of 2026. So, right now, I genuinely feel like there There is a lot of excitement in the air surrounding TNA, which is a very, very good thing.
So not only do we got that to talk about because net not only do you got the pr the premiere that's happening next week, but also Genesis is happening just uh, you know, a day or two afterwards. You got the premiere on the 15th, and then on the 17th, you have TNA Genesis. So there is a lot that We're gonna be talking a whole lot about TNA in the next coming week. And I'm very, very much looking forward to that because I've been wanting to feel like there was a lot of reasons, like a lot of noteworthy reasons to talk about TNA. I've been wanting that for TNA. And the last time we were kind of there was surrounding Mike Santana, winning the title. It was surrounding Surrounding Bound for Glory, and it's been a little bit it's been a little bit of time since Bound for Glory, and now we're kicking off the year with a brand new start.
So, all to say that we're excited and we're looking forward to what they're gonna do. But let's go ahead and get into today's show first and foremost, uh, and how they basically closed out the final episode on Axis. My kind of thought process that I've had while watching. Watching today's show was I kinda like that there was a little bit of everything. I felt like we saw So much from a bunch of little storylines that I'm like, okay, cool. I I know where we're at. I know where we're probably headed for the rest of the year for some people on the programming. And for others, I got a lot of questions of like, what is gonna happen? What's next for this person? So there's kind of enough. I think today's episode of TNA kind of felt like a hometown buffet or something where there's a little bit of
Everything to sort of pick at. Like we had the Hardies and the Righteous. Now we know that their confrontation and all of the drama that's unfolded that's gotten very personal between them is now heading over to uh the Genesis pay-per-view where we're gonna see the Hardies and the Righteous uh go up against each other on the show, and that's essentially how we kicked off the show. And the thing that I've liked about this is uh there was a bunch of Of little things like the the the fact that this feud has gotten personal. I think this is definitely something that the righteous needed because I think for a while I didn't really feel like the righteous were really doing as much. Like I was thinking, like, okay, when are we really gonna get the ball rolling with the righteous?
And of course, when they're in there with the hardies, it finally feels like we're going somewhere. And there was a really funny line during today's pro. Um, that the righteous cut that nearly knocked me out. I couldn't stop laughing about it. And it was probably something that meant nothing to anybody else. But when I heard this line, I could not stop laughing. Uh, they said um they were telling Matt, you sound a little crazy, but I get it. In this industry, we're all here because we're not all here. So I love that line because he's basically saying that everybody that's in pro wrestling is kind of a little bit crazy. And if you're a wrestling fan, which if you're listening to the show, you clearly are.
