And you know, from the beginning, having Jacob Fatu and and and Cody uh have an interaction, having um Uh Sami Zayn have his issue.
With um uh with with Cody in the back. Like there there's just a lot of things that Transpired that You you wanna you you don't wanna gloss over it. Uh I thought that Nick Alders was an authoritarian today. Uh he handles some things that uh you you you want the general manager to to make sure that he keeps the iron fist uh and and gets his respect. But not get so far into it that you interrupt. uh what's going on. Uh I could have I could have done without um giving Drew McIntyre uh The night off. I could have done without that. Because I I I want the anticipation Uh The champion not just showing his face, but even if he antagonizes a little. You know, I I mean he could have made a announce table, um, you know, sat at the announce table, anything.
Um, but I'm not gonna nitpick. We got good wrestling tonight. There were a lot of things that happened in the show that we're gonna get to, but man. Um You're an asshole? Cody, what Let's Susumo. You gonna have to crack your mic on this. We've done about five or six shows. In the last maybe Three or four months. And I've been telling you in all of those shows. That the things that Cody is doing is very heel centric. The things that he says are very hill centric. The posturing The short temper. The The fact that Cody tends to sometimes Put itself above others. You know, I I'm I'm not the guy that's you know, he did it he did it to Nick Alders. He's I'm your boss. I'm I'm the star of the show. I mean it's just a few months ago, but still nonetheless.
He did it. I I didn't forget it as a fan. I didn't forget the fact that Um Cody blames see this the thing that Drew McIntyre gets in trouble with too. Drew McIntyre might not lie. The the things that he's saying There's a lot of truth to it. I can't I can't find the lie in what he's saying, but the complaining, the whining Those are the things that I have a problem with. And I find that to be very healish. And Cody? Is doing that. A lot. And We gotta we gotta see what Uh, what Cody Rose we're gonna get? Because he's schizophrenic to me right now. Last week Cody cut a promo and he sounded like his dad. I mean he he went fooled Dusty, had the lift. When Cody get mad, he lose control of his Control over his list. I love it.
I think it humanizes them. I think it makes him more loving. uh uh are are uh more lovable to the fan base. Um But what I don't like is the the the arrogance. Him calling Uh Him saying you're an asshole is Screams to me. I'm tough. I'm willing to take what it go wherever it goes. That's bully mentality. Good guys don't do that. Good guys take the high road. They don't take no crap off of nobody. Because they usually handle it with ease. And they never hit first. It's always you throw it, I block it, and and then we we we into it. And everybody gets it. Cody's not doing that. Cody hitting first. You don't remember like two weeks ago? Cody came to the ring and attacked. Drew McIntyre right off the rip. He attacked him.
It wasn't the other way around. So that's where the confusion and I I I really did think that Uh Cody is one of those guys that We wanna see Cody get another chance, right? We wanna see Cody represent Um SmackDown. At WrestleMania. But there's a lot of people. I'm not one of 'em. I but I see what the people that are talking Say They don't they're tired of Cody. They want another option. And You know I call it the Drew McIntyre Ass Kicking Club.
