I always love kind of seeing the reveal of this because it's like playing deal or no deal. What did you get? What is the future for you? So here's where we're at. You guys just heard it right now. Trey McGall uh did not get fired for a second time in a month. Congratulations to Trey. Uh that would have been that would have been uh a talking point for sure had we seen the DNA do something crazy like that. Um, Trey Miguel international champ uh earns an international championship shot. Of course, the champion Channing Stacks Lorenzo, who has kind of crawled crossed in a uh uh a love, I guess gonna say I was gonna say a love story, but not really. He's got love problems with Ariana Grace, but now he's got an additional problem in Trey Miguel.
There is a real shot that Trey McGill. Miguel can take that international championship away from Channing Stats. And personally, I want to see Trey McGow actually defeat Channing Stats Lorenzo for the championship. And I say that because, as I mentioned, Channing Stacks has this storyline going with Ariana Grace and Santino Morella. And to me, he's kind of got that sort of working out for him, where um we'll we'll talk more about. About what's going on with that in just a second, but he's kind of got that whole storyline to carry him through on TNA. Mind you, he is an NXT wrestler. Whatever. Um, but with Trey McGow, I think right now Trey McGow needs to uh reassert himself on that roster, on that TNA roster as one of the guys that can legitimately go.
We already know this. We know that Trey McGow is a good. In-ring performer. We know all of that, but I do think that needs to be reestablished, hit a little harder on the next couple of months of TNA. And I would definitely hope that Trey McGow is one of the people that is able to turn his feaster-fired briefcase into an actual gold championship win. Alrighty, uh up next, we had Eddie Edwards with the world title. Of course, we know our champion. Mike Santana. Mike Santana, you know, he's gonna need some competitors. And I think Eddie Edwards is definitely one that we all know that when it comes to some really good wrestling, when it comes to some smart matches, you got Eddie Edwards locked in there. Eddie Edwards to me is almost always that go-to guy.
That go-to guy to have those types of matches where if you want to make your champion look better and you want to have him in there with someone that is legit. To me, that is Eddie Edwards.
How did Trey Miguel’s briefcase affect his title opportunity?
So I love that he is basically gonna be up next for that world championship shot. Um, then we had Eric Young with the X Division championship. Of course, the current champion, Leon Slater. Two totally different types of wrestlers, two totally different uh points in their career. But when it comes down to it, I think we all know that at some point, Leon Slater is. Is gonna be bound for WWE, but right now he is still in TNA, and right now he still has the opportunity to work with these different types of guys. And Eric Young, man, Eric Young is truly one of my favorites on TNA. He kind of always has been. So to see Eric Young work with Leon Slater, again, totally different slot styles. So maybe it'll bring something a little different out of Leon Slater.
