What a night in Chicago for Elimination Chamber. We want to get your letter grade for the event last night. We go through the entire week and we talk about Tickets, ticket issues at the United Center. We talk about the booking. We talk about who can win, who cannot win, how there's a problem with Triple H and all this other stuff. It's kind of like us getting ready for game day. All the what ifs, the negatives and the positives, and we break it all down until we get to game day, and then that crest of oh my god, here we are with the game with the game. Same thing with the show last night. We listen all week to Bust It Open, all the stuff that was talked about leading into this. the injuries, what ifs, the negatives.
But then you ring the bell and I just know that everyone from eight to eighty at the United Center had a fun time watching Elimination Chamber.
Yeah, I mean it looked uh watching at home, watch it on the ESPN Unlimited app, it it looked packed. Um We obviously know what kind of camera angles and things they can do or not do when they want to disguise, when any promotion wants to disguise You know, oh, you know, we're w the the don't shoe this part of the building or you know, d tickets didn't go so strong over here. Not the case. Um First time in twenty what First time since nineteen ninety four, right? So first time in w in thirty two years. Yeah. Since Summerslam of ninety four, the WWE has ran the United Center and it's a big ass building, as you know, of course. And uh every drone shot, every camera angle, you just saw people. People, people, people everywhere.
Uh n nothing being blocked off. So and and and and and Yeah, there was some d you know, th some d discourse online about the crowd at different points in terms of their liveliness or reaction or lack thereof at certain times, which we'll we'll get through and navigate uh through the topics over the next three hours. But Overall from a visual standpoint, especially when they just came on the air, it was like, Oh wow, they got a hell of a crowd here.
Yeah, for those that were wondering about the ticket situation and what's happened at United Center, it was it was sold out. It was legit. No question about that. All across the place. I was there in the hockey press box checking it all out and and I got a bird's eye view of just how people are reacting to things. It's always good. I don't need a a front row seat. I'm a fan. I don't necessarily have to have a front row seat. For me, I'm like I'm a fan. Yeah, we're on busted open, but I just want to be in the build. I don't I don't care where it is. It is. I just want to be in the building just to absorb and just enjoy what people are enjoying about the show.
And Jay Hood, you being a lifelong Chicago and um Norm you know, again, the last thirty years, WWE famously and for for Chicago, which a lot of the boys say what is one of their favorite places to go, and one of the buildings is what they normally run, the the the Rosemont Horizon or or All State Arena, whatever whatever it's known at a certain time. Um And and I and I've been there. And that one is as I recall it, it's you don't really have a bad seat. Even if you're on the up even if you're on the upper level. There's just that upper level you still can see pretty good. Uh it's loud, the ceiling and the acoustics everything it's it's a loud building. The United Center I've not been there. That, correct me if I'm wrong
is much steeper and deeper in terms of I mean there's multiple levels uh so much a much bigger house than than the Allstate Arena, correct?
Yeah, no question about that. That's um over nineteen thousand seats in the United Center. And uh, you know, I remember when WWE uh came to the United Center originally and that was, you know, pretty much when it opened. Uh so it was get you know, so
