I quite honestly, you know, this being the first you know, th this WrestleMania on ESPN and and all the th you know, between the ESPN app, between showing uh the first hours on traditional linear channel. Quite frankly, it would have been weird. Really, it would have been weird if Pat wasn't involved in this WrestleMania at all, given the fact that you turn on ESPN all day, every day and Pat's on in some form or fashion. So Right there. I'll give 'em that pass. It makes sense to have Pat i i on mania in some capacity. I would have thought more so, oh, he's gonna jump on the commentary task or or or he's hosting standing next to John Cena and they're co-hosting the event.
But no, they decided they wanted to go a little more They wanted to double down. And the and the double down is the problem I have with this. It's not like we're let hey, let's double down. Let's have Pat get involved. Pat, who's a big wrestling fan, who has done some work in the ring and and and quite well, I I will add, in terms of I'm talking physicality. But it's not like, hey, let's get Pat involved in a match that, you know We booked this guy, we booked that guy, and it's just it's kind of flat. Mm, not a lot of buzz. Let's let's let's inject it with some Pat McAfee energy. No, they decided to insert him. In a match that has 20 years of real history and that the fans were making a whole lot of noise for already.
