In underserved populations, the majority of governments provide health and nutrition services to their citizens. Despite their best efforts, however, limited resources hinder their ability to do so. Unfortunately, those who are most in need of assistance are always overlooked. Vitamin Angels collaborate with local nonprofit agencies that offer health and nutrition services to women and children who are underserved. Only programs that are complementary to and integrated with established national health systems are supported. Vitamin Angels have developed a global network of over 2,000 program partners with a deep understanding of the populations they represent and the ability to recognise and fill health-care gaps.
