Joe’s builders have broken a light, so before recording the pod he gave them the frosty treatment when they arrived to fix it. Well, sort of - because when David questions him on the details, he doesn’t sound that convinced about how he handled it. Moving on, David then tells Joe about being embarrassed when he listened back to one of their recent episodes, explains that he’s still got a bit of a dodgy tummy and recounts a recent family meal in a very busy pub that he had to abandon because of it. Then the two of them discuss more old jobs they used to have, like cleaning offices and being a barman.
