No worries. Welcome to mailbag, everybody.
I was thinking, I don't know why it came out of my head, but you know when people say I love your energy? Yeah. Do they? You know, like... Has anyone ever said that? No. Well, I don't know. Anyway, then, welcome to Friday, Melbo.
Yeah.
Go on. What? No, it's just an odd... I love his energy.

Stop? Are we going to get lots of one in a million, do you reckon?
Yeah, probably.
Do you reckon it'll be like, fucking hell, I've got to find something else.

Chapter 3: What childhood celebrity encounters are shared?
I don't know, the external hard drive's making this weird. Does anyone know anything where, and they'll leave a comment going, no, I don't, sorry.
I'm not in IT or something like that, yeah.
Yeah, they'll just do a, okay, mate, sorry, okay, yeah.
Yeah, I don't know if you've ever had this. And if you do, if you've done this, you're a twat. And it's happened quite a lot. People go, hello, mate, any chance of a photo? I go, yeah, sure. And then they go, take me a picture of me and the wife.
Oh, right, they do that as a... A joke.
And I go... And I've just been walking home.
Right. Are you sure it's off the back of him making out he knows you?
Yeah, it's definitely that. Oh, right. So he's come over and gone, I'm going to pretend I want a photo with it. But I'll then pretend, then go, take a picture of me and the wife. And I always go, yeah, sure. Yeah, fine. I will.
Yeah.

But, yeah, anyway.
Well, you just called those photographers twats.
Yeah, I'll stand by that. Have you ever done it?
Honestly, my least favourite is, oh, fucking hell, the car's not working. Is anyone good with car mechanics? And you just put it out, and they're so, no, I'm not. Sorry. It's not even that, because that feels like they're... No, yeah.
No, I'm not a mechanic, so it can't help. Yeah, it's just, oh, mate. Because you're an Ari. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then other people go, actually, if you try this, you go, you're such a lovely person just trying. You're picking your moment when to have a laugh.
Yeah, it's a minefield. So I do think sometimes you go, and I know people like this, where you go, good intentions really got up everyone's nose. And you feel sorry for them because they haven't got the... I haven't quite got the radar needed. So there's a constant... Can you give us an example? Well... I feel bad. No, I don't want to.
Right.
You just sort of go like that. I close one eye when it's happening.

Here we go.
Strap in. No, I haven't, Steve. Oh, for fuck's sake.
You're one of them. Again, thanks for listening. Clean.
Do they get a thanks for his email? Yeah, that's true. It's the rule. It's the rule, man.
That's the first time you said, do they even get one? Oh, that's bad. Offensive.
Well, would you say thanks for stopping me in the street as a little message? No, you go, fuck off, I'm trying to... No, I wouldn't. I'm just trying to make a pod here and you were just trying to get home.
You get half a wrong is what you get. Oh, 50% wrong. Yeah, go on then, I'll take a picture. I'll bet you don't, I'll bet you're... No, I was just really monotone. Yeah, okay, yeah.

Light-hearted Friday morning for everyone. Frothy Fridays. Fucking hell. We've run out of time, nearly. You've got to go.
13 minutes. Sorry, Stephen. It's just this joke. I just can't stand it.
You know we're going to get hundreds of these.
Fair play to you all. Oh, there we go. I'm hovering over send.
Why? You're not sending things through email.

Chapter 8: How do the hosts reflect on the listener's stories?
That's not your fault.
That's absolutely not your fault. I'm just well aware of the time constraints.
What was today's mailbag like? There was a lot of waiting for the email to load and moaning. I guess it's still loading.
Yeah, it's not good. Okay, well, I couldn't pull that letter out, but I pulled this out. It's called Haunted Pub by Adam Holding. Hi, David and Jo, listening to your pod and David's interest in spooky places. A few years ago, for my sister's birthday, I went on a paranormal night held at the Skrid Inn, the oldest pub in Wales and probably the most haunted.
It was once a place where they sentenced people to hanging. It was also a filming location for Martin Klune's ITV dramas, Out There. LAUGHTER Which I bet you hoovered up.
LAUGHTER
Yeah, I did. That was quite recent.
Yeah. I was once a skeptic for ghosts and spooky things like Skeptic Joe. But after that said night, I'm definitely a believer in the paranormal. Just to say, yes, I definitely did watch out there. I did watch out there, yeah.
So many things happened that night, but the one thing that happened that was stuck with me was sitting around a table trying to contact the spirits with a motion sensor like a ball under a pint glass. with a motion sensor light up ball under a pint glass.
