Hi, good morning. Morning.

0

111.936 - 112.456 David

Morning. How are you?

0

113.158 - 117.205 Joe

Pretty good. Good. I've got to go bang on half past ten because I've got to get a train.

0

117.787 - 121.273 David

No worries. Welcome to mailbag, everybody.

121.293 - 136.581 Joe

I was thinking, I don't know why it came out of my head, but you know when people say I love your energy? Yeah. Do they? You know, like... Has anyone ever said that? No. Well, I don't know. Anyway, then, welcome to Friday, Melbo.

137.062 - 137.302 Unknown

Yeah.

138.083 - 142.969 Joe

Go on. What? No, it's just an odd... I love his energy.

143.67 - 146.974 David

Yeah. When you say about anyone, I love their energy.

Chapter 2: What spooky experiences happened at the Skirrid Inn?

158.262 - 162.027 Joe

James, if you keep that in, that is the start of the end of this podcast.

0

164.149 - 167.414 David

Right then. Here we go. Let's pick a... Tell me when to stop.

0

168.455 - 171.719 Joe

Stop? Are we going to get lots of one in a million, do you reckon?

0

173.482 - 174.163 David

Yeah, probably.

0

174.203 - 177.627 Joe

Do you reckon it'll be like, fucking hell, I've got to find something else.

178.548 - 179.59 David

Oh, yeah.

179.67 - 179.77

Yeah.

180.695 - 185.801 David

No, because I can search them when we do that. Okay.

185.822 - 193.511 Unknown

Okay, so I'm just going to put my hand in now and... Still sticking with that. Yeah.

Chapter 3: What childhood celebrity encounters are shared?

240.078 - 246.87 David

I don't know, the external hard drive's making this weird. Does anyone know anything where, and they'll leave a comment going, no, I don't, sorry.

0

247.471 - 250.296 Joe

I'm not in IT or something like that, yeah.

0

250.316 - 259.151 David

Yeah, they'll just do a, okay, mate, sorry, okay, yeah.

0

259.171 - 274.756 Joe

Yeah, I don't know if you've ever had this. And if you do, if you've done this, you're a twat. And it's happened quite a lot. People go, hello, mate, any chance of a photo? I go, yeah, sure. And then they go, take me a picture of me and the wife.

0

276.801 - 279.046 David

Oh, right, they do that as a... A joke.

279.066 - 282.377 Joe

And I go... And I've just been walking home.

282.397 - 288.625 David

Right. Are you sure it's off the back of him making out he knows you?

288.785 - 305.287 Joe

Yeah, it's definitely that. Oh, right. So he's come over and gone, I'm going to pretend I want a photo with it. But I'll then pretend, then go, take a picture of me and the wife. And I always go, yeah, sure. Yeah, fine. I will.

306.048 - 306.308 David

Yeah.

Chapter 4: How did a dream about a Chatabiscuit unfold?

362.152 - 364.668 Joe

But, yeah, anyway.

0

364.688 - 366.942 David

Well, you just called those photographers twats.

0

367.043 - 371.566 Joe

Yeah, I'll stand by that. Have you ever done it?

0

371.967 - 386.644 David

Honestly, my least favourite is, oh, fucking hell, the car's not working. Is anyone good with car mechanics? And you just put it out, and they're so, no, I'm not. Sorry. It's not even that, because that feels like they're... No, yeah.

0

387.766 - 401.623 Joe

No, I'm not a mechanic, so it can't help. Yeah, it's just, oh, mate. Because you're an Ari. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

401.643 - 408.174 David

And then other people go, actually, if you try this, you go, you're such a lovely person just trying. You're picking your moment when to have a laugh.

409.276 - 442.179 Joe

Yeah, it's a minefield. So I do think sometimes you go, and I know people like this, where you go, good intentions really got up everyone's nose. And you feel sorry for them because they haven't got the... I haven't quite got the radar needed. So there's a constant... Can you give us an example? Well... I feel bad. No, I don't want to.

442.199 - 442.319 David

Right.

443.56 - 448.386 Joe

You just sort of go like that. I close one eye when it's happening.

Chapter 5: What are the stories behind repeated phone thefts?

463.422 - 470.053 David

Oh, sneaky house showing. So go into it going, oh, brilliant. He's either not done it. Someone's happened to him. Brilliant. He's done it.

0

470.313 - 470.974 Joe

Here we go.

0

470.994 - 473.979 David

Strap in. No, I haven't, Steve. Oh, for fuck's sake.

0

473.999 - 478.045 Joe

You're one of them. Again, thanks for listening. Clean.

0

478.166 - 481.952 David

Do they get a thanks for his email? Yeah, that's true. It's the rule. It's the rule, man.

482.292 - 489.123 Joe

That's the first time you said, do they even get one? Oh, that's bad. Offensive.

489.144 - 498.022 David

Well, would you say thanks for stopping me in the street as a little message? No, you go, fuck off, I'm trying to... No, I wouldn't. I'm just trying to make a pod here and you were just trying to get home.

498.242 - 511.61 Joe

You get half a wrong is what you get. Oh, 50% wrong. Yeah, go on then, I'll take a picture. I'll bet you don't, I'll bet you're... No, I was just really monotone. Yeah, okay, yeah.

511.651 - 512.374 David

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Chapter 6: What humorous quips are shared about family experiences?

512.474 - 513.639 Joe

Like, I'm messing about, mate.

0

513.659 - 514.804 David

Oh, yeah, I can picture that.

0

515.327 - 520.222 Joe

I'm messing about, mate. No, I don't mind taking your picture. I'm messing about.

0

520.242 - 528.556 David

Oh, no. So then he goes, no, I do want one of you. Yeah. And you're like, you're not fucking having it, mate.

0

528.597 - 529.138 Joe

55% wrong.

529.178 - 535.148 Unknown

Treat me with respect, you'll get a little photo.

535.669 - 537.472 David

Respect me and you'll get a pecky.

539.917 - 548.718 Joe

Cuss. I'm going to cut this whole lip.

548.738 - 555.394 David

Respect me and my CV and you'll get a nice little piggy on your phone.

Chapter 7: What unexpected events occurred during a safari wedding?

612.96 - 619.074 Joe

Well, Steve, you want to reply and just give us context? Oh, no, I don't want more stuff from him. No, I won't be.

0

619.254 - 625.168 David

I won't reply, Steve. Thanks for sending the thanks for your email, sending the thanks.

0

631.763 - 642.617 Joe

Light-hearted Friday morning for everyone. Frothy Fridays. Fucking hell. We've run out of time, nearly. You've got to go.

0

642.637 - 652.529 David

13 minutes. Sorry, Stephen. It's just this joke. I just can't stand it.

0

653.37 - 657.575 Unknown

You know we're going to get hundreds of these.

657.615 - 667.494 David

Fair play to you all. Oh, there we go. I'm hovering over send.

667.514 - 668.976 Joe

Why? You're not sending things through email.

669.296 - 673.962 David

No, thanks for email. Right.

674.983 - 681.651 Unknown

Anyway. Okay. I should have got another one off the back of that. I was thinking exactly that.

Chapter 8: How do the hosts reflect on the listener's stories?

700.48 - 701.361 Joe

That's not your fault.

0

701.701 - 712.411 David

That's absolutely not your fault. I'm just well aware of the time constraints.

0

712.431 - 722.601 Joe

What was today's mailbag like? There was a lot of waiting for the email to load and moaning. I guess it's still loading.

0

723.063 - 748.613 David

Yeah, it's not good. Okay, well, I couldn't pull that letter out, but I pulled this out. It's called Haunted Pub by Adam Holding. Hi, David and Jo, listening to your pod and David's interest in spooky places. A few years ago, for my sister's birthday, I went on a paranormal night held at the Skrid Inn, the oldest pub in Wales and probably the most haunted.

0

749.274 - 761.17 David

It was once a place where they sentenced people to hanging. It was also a filming location for Martin Klune's ITV dramas, Out There. LAUGHTER Which I bet you hoovered up.

761.19 - 761.35

LAUGHTER

762.663 - 766.682 Joe

Yeah, I did. That was quite recent.

766.983 - 780.958 David

Yeah. I was once a skeptic for ghosts and spooky things like Skeptic Joe. But after that said night, I'm definitely a believer in the paranormal. Just to say, yes, I definitely did watch out there. I did watch out there, yeah.

780.978 - 798.184 David

So many things happened that night, but the one thing that happened that was stuck with me was sitting around a table trying to contact the spirits with a motion sensor like a ball under a pint glass. with a motion sensor light up ball under a pint glass.
