Jake Fraley led the Reds with three hits, including two doubles, and two RBIs. Nick Martinez earned the win, pitching five innings and allowing two runs on six hits with five strikeouts. Emilio Pagán secured the save. For the Mets, Brett Baty hit a solo home run, but the offense struggled, with Francisco Lindor and Juan Soto combining for 0-for-7 at the plate. Clay Holmes took the loss, giving up four earned runs over 5.1 innings. The Reds improved to 52-47, while the Mets dropped to 55-44, marking their third straight loss. The game, part of a three-game series, was played in front of a crowd celebrating David Wright Day, with the Mets retiring his No. 5 jersey before the game.
