This week we do some garden updates and discussion, we cover how to best reamend soil with testing, breeding on a variety of levels, naming conventions, knock offs and imitations, we discuss grow rights and grow laws and how we are overcoming them as a community working together. We all give our thoughts on GG4 the small and flavor of what makes the legend. This leads a bit into discussion about who owns and has rights to the plants, genetics etc. Is licensing the way, or freely spreading everything, or something in between. we give examples from cannabis and non cannabis markets where these arguments and legal discussion have been and still are taking place around crop genetic resources. In the second hour of the show we get more into IPM discussion, talking about Hop Latent Viroid, how it spreads, how it impacts plants, how pollen plays a role in potentially more ways then one. We discuss the use of copyrights as well as plant patents, which goes into the history of cannabis use and how we are all standing on the shoulders of giants with worldwide use across nearly all groups people We also discuss other potential plant pathogens, prevalence and spread in cannabis and other major industries and their avenues of detection, and prevention.
