Arianna Huffington 1:37

Bill Maher 2:05
I blocked out the Emmys, Ariana, but I don't know. I've been nominated for forty of them. So they all just kinda go into one
Arianna Huffington 2:14
But that was the only one I was nominated for. Right. When you
Bill Maher 2:17
and Al Franken did Strange Bedfells. Strange Fellows
Arianna Huffington 2:20
as part of politically incorrect in bed together.
Bill Maher 2:23

Unknown 2:42
Really?
Arianna Huffington 2:43
Um instead of watching the rest of the Emmys. And my mom, do you remember my mum? Of course. She loved you. My mom loved you and my daughters loved your girlfriends. Because they always felt that they were more their age.
Bill Maher 3:00
Well they were. Still are. But um
Arianna Huffington 3:04
And they talk to them instead of the all the people who ignore them. I mean
Bill Maher 3:08

Arianna Huffington 3:13
But it's been a long time. It's thirty years. You used to bring girlfriends around. Oh, I think Actually I hired one of them. Do you remember your science girlfriend?
Bill Maher 3:22

Arianna Huffington 3:23
So I I have I
Bill Maher 3:25

Arianna Huffington 3:26
she was amazing, gorgeous, brilliant and I hired her to be a science editor at the Huffington Post. And you remember she launched this series which was I think your idea. Talk nerdy to me.
Bill Maher 3:39

I remember we were going around to m like meetings Um, she was twenty five at the time and and you know, so young and also no familiarity with show business really. And yet after like the first two meetings, she was so hip to like what was going on. Like we get out of the meeting and she'd say, you know, that network probably needs something in their eight PM slot that I'm like, whoa.
