25 Feb 2016

Description

[English version below] D’athraigh Éirí Amach na Cásca saol na hÉireann agus spreag sé na scríbhneoirí chomh maith le cách. Ba é Seacht mBuaan Éirí Amach ceiliúradh Shean-Phádraic ar bhliain na glóire, agus tá seacht scéal le fáil ann faoi dhaoine ar chuir an tÉirí Amach casadh buan ina saol.  Tá cuid den scríbhneoireacht is fearr dá ndearna Sean-Phádraic sa leabhar seo, arb é ochtú bua an Éirí Amach é, dar le Seosamh Mac Grianna. Láithreoir: Róisín Adams Aíonna: Síobhra Aiken agus Aisling Ní Dhonnacha [Leagan Gaeilge thuas] This novel, set in Dublin in the present day, is about a teenager, Aisling, from a very traditional background, who has begun to challenge her mother’s right-wing ideals. As the conflict between them escalates, a horrific event turns their lives upside down and they both begin to question everything they used to believe in. Some controversial issues are at the forefront of this story, including abortion. Presenter: Róisín Adams Guests: Síobhra Aiken and Aisling Ní Dhonnacha
