Tairngreacht - Leabhar Mhí Dheireadh Fómhair 2019 / Book of the Month - October 2019

26 Sep 2019

Description

[English version below] Cuirtear saol Chonchúir Uí Bhraonáin bun os cionn go hiomlán nuair a thagann sé ar dhúnmharú scáfar ar mhullach uaigheanna Uí Néill agus Uí Dhónaill sa Róimh. Gan mhoill tá a bheatha féin i mbaol. Is léir áfach, nach Conchúr amháin atá i gcontúirt agus go bhfuil comhcheilg ar siúl a bhainfeadh an bonn de chumhacht an Phápa agus a chuirfeadh deireadh leis an Eaglais. Má tá Conchúr le teacht slán, caithfidh sé aghaidh a thabhairt ar sheict dhorcha a bhfuil a fréamhacha aici sa luathChríostaíocht féin. Ach an í seo an fíornamhaid? Mura n-éiríonn leis an mhistéir a réiteach in am, fíorófar an tairngreacht uafásach a rinneadh míle go leith bliain ó shin; tairngreacht a d’athródh an saol go deo. Láithreoir: Seán Ó Catháin Aíonna: Réaltán Ní Leannáin agus Muiris Ó Raghallaigh [Leagan Gaeilge thuas] Conchúr Ó Braonáin's life is turned upside down when he stumbles upon a violent murder that occurs on the graves of Ó Néill and Ó Dónaill in Rome. Not before long, he also finds himself in peril but it seems that he isn't alone as he becomes complicit in a conspiracy that might end the power of the Catholic Church.  If Conchúr is to prevail, he must tackle the dark roots of an Early-Christian sect, but this begs the question: are they the true enemy? If he doesn't succeed, however, the prophecy that was foreseen fifteen-hundred years ago might come to realisation, changing the world as we know it! Presenter: Seán Ó Catháin Guests: Réaltán Ní Leannáin and Muiris Ó Raghallaigh
