Chris Haynes loves ball. After hooping in college, he was on a mission to make the NBA his life's work. His story includes traveling and working for free to get his foot in the door while holding down another job to pay the bills. A path that's relatable. Early on he noticed a few things that needed to change. He approached players a different way. He wrote the story while building his writing skills. And he made connections with people around the building that gave him insights he wouldn't have had. His story is one of perseverance and drive. One that took him from beat reporter, to NBA Insider on National TV.
