Chapter 1: What are the highlights of the Anzac Appeal Round in footy?
The Bombers are in front of the G!
Hey, welcome back you rats to the Big Red Shed. I'll tell you what, construction in Melbourne just went through the roof. Brick walls everywhere just smashed to the ground after that. What a big weekend of football we have coming up. Anzac round of football all happening. There's just a sniff of competition. Respect. Absolutely. And we go again. We climb the mountain together.
I love Anzac Arrakis day. Him flushing that kick there in the intro that we saw. Great kick on the all-time Manzac Day moments. And we'll have more this weekend. Welcome to you, Joe. Obviously, I can see now a lot of hats on the table. Oh, yeah. Those local footy teams? Yep.
Chapter 2: What happened with Zach Butters and the tribunal controversy?
So this is the lead into you making a decision of who you're going to play some games for. This is my short list of teams that I'm going to absolutely light up some Div 3 Resi's games for. So go through the teams. I don't know who they are most. I know the Mustangs, obviously. So we have, I'll start to the right. I can't see the logo. What is it? This is terrible by me.
Oh, that's Roseberry Two-Back, FC.
Oh, the team that got absolutely smoked last year. Yeah, they stink. They still haven't won a game, I don't think.
Yep. Marulbark. Marulbark Mustangs. Yep, who we love. Yep. Is that Fitzroy there? Yep, Fitzroy Lions.
Chapter 3: How are the local footy teams performing this season?
Sorrento Sharks. Ash, sponsor job. Yep. Sorrento Sharks, they 100% reached out to me. And then we got Carrara Saints. So back to your club. That's my former team. They said they want the Rara rifle back.
I said, not a chance, but I'll put you in the pod. So what we have here is very similar to LeBron's decision, but just way less people affected by it. And they're not burning Lopez Guernsey in the streets. Oh, there's 44 people on the list, mate, compared to five on the starting five. So you play it with three, do you have three games or four?
As many as it takes to get the Coleman. What kind of player are you? Forward? Power forward? Swing man. Could sit on the bench for a bit because I'm pretty out of shape and unfit. Were you doing some running?
Chapter 4: What is the role of the ARC doctor in player safety?
Your running's going well? Yeah, I did some running the other day. Played horse yesterday, I don't know, at Gosher's Paddock. Okay, so you're getting fit?
Yeah. Getting fit? Yeah. Well, we look forward to, when do we get a decision on it? Throughout the show or not?
I might sit on it. If I don't do it on the show today, I'll reveal something tomorrow night.
Big decision. Yeah. Because, you know, I can see what's happening here. I come as collateral. And then all of a sudden I find myself at 9am on some cow paddock in a forward pocket next to you. And I know exactly what's going to happen here. It's really your decision. Wherever's more convenient for you. I'm not coming out of retirement. I'm done. I've said I'm done.
The Legends game was my last game ever. Yeah, you're done, mate. I'll never play. I'll never set the boots on ever again. You keep winking at me. That's a good thing. I'm not winking. You keep winking at me. You coming out? Not a reason for me to come out of retirement. I'm done. What about a big wad of cash? Absolutely not. You couldn't pay me enough.
I was going to get some merch that will go live soon or will be on the website now if you want to get some merch that we haven't sold. Making way for the new stock. So... We'll get these hats on, the 13 beer hats, which say if you're not drinking 13 beers with me at the footy, I can only assume you're drinking 13 beers against me.

Chapter 5: How do injuries impact team performance heading into the weekend?
Those hats that people ask for will come soon. And then the stuff we have from the first drop, they'll come out or they'll be now on the website. And then we've got a new job coming soon. So go get some merch if you want to. If not, totally get it as well.
I'm going to give everyone a 25% discount as well. No, you're not. I am.
That's not how it works. No. But again, go get it. Oh, you're going to give a discount? Yep. 12% off right there. Let's talk about some news. Let's get into it. Let's waste no time here. Zach Butters is a free man. Hey. Well done, Zach. Free. Not a filthy, dirty liar like he was paying to be like a filthy rat. Absolutely not. He's an honest man.
Tribunal really shot themselves in the foot with this whole thing. So if we cast our mind back to 10 days ago now, Zach Butters gives the 50 away against St Kilda. He's standing next to Nick Foote and Ollie Wines. Nick Foote then gives 50 against Zach Butters saying that he said, Zach said, how much are they paying you? Zach was strong. His reaction was strong. So was Oli Lyons.
Clearly didn't think he said that. Knowing he didn't say that, Zach couldn't believe his ears. Oli couldn't either. For some reason, Ben Rutten couldn't believe his ears either. He went into the tribunal for some reason. We're not sure why. He gets fined $1,500. There's no audio. There's no proof.

Chapter 6: What are the predictions for the upcoming matches this Super Saturday?
Just a tribunal who say, we don't believe you. We believe Nick Foote instead. At the same time, that tribunal member, Jason Johnson, three calls the way through, leaves the meeting, just gets up and jumps, picks up the phone call again in the car on his way to what we think allegedly was an open home inspection. That's what we've been told.
He had to open a house up because it wasn't a tribunal, also got an inspection. And then another tribunal member says, we're going to wrap this thing up at 5.45. And that was the weird world we were living in where Zach wasn't a liar, but he was somehow found guilty and the tribunal had places to be. So we didn't get a fair trial. So poor filthy, they say, we'll see you again.
And sure enough, we see you again. Eight days later, it took a long time. We took eight days to get to this point, which is just crazy. The port lawyer, Two days ago, I said, I'm not going to argue whether he said or he said about what was actually said. I'm going to argue that one of your tribunal members just upped and out and started driving a fucking car during the hearing.
Literally on the phone, in the car, mid-hearing, just driving down a road. Argued that. Yeah. Then, as his, the Port lawyer's arguing that case, the Port's lawyer, his dog, which I can only assume was a Labrador or a Labradoodle, starts going off. This dog's losing his mind. Poor lawyer had to put himself on mute and say, I'm so sorry about that.
My dog came in here, didn't know what he was thinking. Must have seen the postman or something. He starts going off. It was a circus. We've got a guy trying to blame another guy for driving cars during a meeting or a tribunal hearing while his dog is just losing his shit. It made no sense. And then the AFL turns around. And goes, you know what? Shouldn't have been driving.
Shouldn't be making plans. Unfair hearing. Case dismissed. Have your money back. In rare, rare air for Zach Butters to now get money from the AFL. The whole thing is just a, it's actually very funny.
You perfectly explained that whole situation. You provided great context, the storyline, funny jokes and everything. Yeah. Thanks. Yeah. I don't know why I complimented you.
I was just like caught up in you speaking. I was just like so lost. I worked it off a bit. So I was angry last night in the shower when it came through. It's the shittest story ever. It's so, it's just hilarious. The whole thing. Yeah. When I was in the shower last night, I even had a shower with clenched fists. So angry.
Were you facing the doorknobs again?

Chapter 7: What are the latest updates on player conditions and team strategies?
I want them to see me hanging. With clenched fists. Why is Pendles confident again? Because every time I think of butt cheeks, I just think of him. Don't know, no one else does? No. Okay. But you nailed that conversation. Oh, that story. Thank you.
Well, it's a win-win for the AFL as well because basically they do back in Nick Foote and then they get off or they get themselves out of trouble on a technicality where they also back Zach Butters and they say to everyone, let's just control our dogs and how about we stop driving? We've got hearings on.
Do you reckon they went to Butters like, all right, Look, shit's hit the fan here. We fucked up. You fucked up. Or someone fucked up. But when you play Hawthorne this week, go and shake every umpire's hand before the game and make it known that you did that. It's a good PR thing for us.
Some were saying that the AFL knew they were in a possible position here to go either way. So they told Jason Johnson just to get in his car and start driving. So they could get him off. So plant it down the road. Apparently Andrew Dillon... Hey, we might be losing this one. So if you could just get your car keys and piss off, then we can come back next week. I know it sounds weird. Just do it.
Yeah, we've got 343 Mitchell Street ready to sell. I don't know why also these hearings. Why are we just in the same room? Can we just go to one room and everyone just talk? I know that the Zach Butters has to be dialed in, but for the Tribunal members, just get to it. We'll get to AFL House. You work there. Is AFL House in Adelaide? No, it's here.
Oh, so he was in Melbourne and then left the AFL House. No, I think he was in his home. Jason Johnson was in his house. And then was in a time crunch, which I think weirdly they said at the start. Because he's a really sad agent as well. I think so. Is he a real estate agent? Or did he have a house inspection? He had a house inspection or something, right? He's going to buy one. He is.
Jason Johnson works for a real estate company, Jealous Craig.
So he was selling a house?
Yeah, he was. He's had performance snapshot. He sold 10 properties. Well done. Come on, Jason Johnson. Hell of an agent. Let's go, JJ. She tribunal member. Cancel a house. You got some brick and mortar.

Chapter 8: How does the podcast wrap up the discussions on footy and player welfare?
Give it to Jase. Yeah, absolutely. He'll sell it. And never, you never, you never sell and drive. Nah, I've never done that. You never do that.
It's also so funny that he just got caught driving, being on a team's call. I feel like since COVID, everyone just takes a piss with team's calls now.
Oh yeah.
One of my mates got caught in a, they have like a town hall meeting for the organization he works for. I'm not going to say it. And he didn't realize he had his webcam on. It was like middle of summer working from home. So he takes his shirt off and he's just sitting there like this, like sitting back, laying back in his chair. He's got his like belly and, you know, chest out.
And everyone started messaging him like, yeah, the gun show.
I think we can safely assume if your camera and microphone is off in one of those meetings online. you're just not there. Like I'm just, I'm at the golf range or I'm doing something else.
You especially, you're not there if the web comes on.
No, you have to get me physically there. Otherwise I'm out. I'm doing something else. Then we have another thing in the league again, but this arc thing in Essendon.
So the Essendon doctor and the ARC doctor had a huge argument last round, which now has still got some teething issues with the actual ARC doctor system, where Tom Edwards, he was cleared from the ground from the actual Essendon doctor, but the ARC doctor said, actually, pull him back off, and it was five minutes to go. And they were in the game, but now everyone's saying, well, if it was a...
