What were the key takeaways from the Falcons vs Packers recap?
This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports.
What a play! Can you believe this?
I had no idea. It's time to dominate your fantasy
league. Off to the races, and he stays on his feet.
He's just going to go the distance. Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
Happy Friday, everybody. Unless you have Kyle Pitts. We're like Kyle the Pitts. Am I right, Dave? Am I right? Kyle H. Pitts
is the name that we're going with. Kyle H. Pitts. I don't get it. Kyle H. The H stands for he's the.
HT. It can't be HT. Okay. Well, anyway, the Falcons with a romp 35-14 over the Packers. And we'll talk about that. And honestly, both tight ends struggled. We won't let Tucker Kraft completely off the hook. Four catches for 26 yards. But he did have eight targets at least on a day where Jordan Love threw 53 passes. We've got starter sit for seven more games today. Arizona at San Francisco, Minnesota at Tampa Bay, Philadelphia at Chicago, New Orleans at Las Vegas, Seattle at Washington. Seattle's in Washington. What's that mean? Baltimore at Dallas and the game of the week, Tennessee at the Giants, the Wanda Robinson revenge game. Good morning, Jamie.
The Brian Day Bowl revenge game, the Brian Callahan revenge game. I mean, there's just revenge games all over the place.
And the Baltimore and Dallas game isn't even in Dallas.
Yeah.
Yes, it's true. It's in
Brazil.
We got
a new background? Alice.
No. What do you mean? For me? No, in the show. Oh, yeah, yeah. So do you know who the—
I thought maybe you were trying to say, Jamie, that there's something different about Adam today. No,
Adam looks great. Do you know—yeah. Do you know who the special— I'm sorry I'm late, by the way. I was looking for Kyle Pitts.
Well— Oh, Adam found him. That makes one of you. So do you know who the special teams coach for the Titans is, by the way?
The special teams coach for the Titans.
It is Jim Fossil's son, John Fossil. Nice. Oh, dude, Bones? He's been around forever. More ties to the Giants. Okay, let's get into the game. 35-14 Falcons. Got an email. I'm sure you guys have gotten the question, too. Can I drop Kyle Pitts? What's the answer,
Dave Richard? You should have never drafted Kyle Pitts. That's the answer. And I would be inclined to see what tight ends develop this weekend, and then you can make a pivot after that. I never like to spike cut anybody. But in the event that you do see a tight end on waivers who you like better, maybe you already have a tight end on your team that you like better than Kyle Pitts. Yeah, you can move on from Kyle Pitts.
I think it's obviously not a bad idea to find another option. And if you have to drop Kyle Pitts, you drop Kyle Pitts. It'd be a little bit different if this was week two as opposed to week four because this is the Falcons' offense
now.
And so now you have a quarterback that's competent. Now you have an offense that clearly is going to be successful or at least has the ability to be successful. So if this was week two, I would be more inclined to say, okay, give it one more week. Let's see what this looks like for Kyle Pitts with Michael Penix. But it's week four and you've gotten three zeros out of your tight end essentially or combined five points for the season, whatever it is. You have to find another option just to cover yourself because it could be bad. So if that's the move – like I have Kyle Pitts. It's an 18-team league. Darren Waller was on waivers. I dropped somebody just to pick up Darren Waller. He was the only tight end that has any significance to me at least.
if Aranda Gadsden's out there, if Hunter Henry's still out there, if...
Ernst Ferguson.
Ferguson's a little bit tougher because I think that's more short-term than long-term. I agree,
but you're streaming at that
point. Yeah, yeah. He's definitely in the conversation. Pat Fryermuth as well. So any of these guys that have the ability to give you a different option... and you can carry them, that's the benefit of seeing this disappointment on Thursday night is that you can cover yourself for potentially the rest of the season.
