You've got five for us. You've got some sells, some buys, you got a drop, which I'm interested to talk about, and you got a shop in there as well. So we got a lot going on. How are you surviving this horrific, atrocious, awful week two? We were talking before we started taping and holy cow was this a less fun week than week one was.
Yeah, yeah. I'm um I'm well I'm giving up on Justin Herbert. We're officially moving into the um Justin we're not gonna move into Justin Herbert hater camp, but man. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me like five times, shame on me. Nah, it hasn't been that has it been that much? It's been Quite a streak of disappointing. Results over and over and over again. Thank God for Tyler Shuck at this point. That's all I got to say.
Yeah. Well, I I maybe would agree with that if he didn't just beat my Ravens, but no, Chuck does look good and is deserving of some praise here. So I can't I can't hate too much on it. Yeah, I mean, uh injuries, galore, low score. It was like I think the Sunday afternoon slate had about like eighteen points per game fewer than week one's Sunday afternoon slate. So just all the offense and then none of the offense. You know, major quarterback. injuries which are especially not fun, just really, really uh brutal all the way around. So we're hoping for a bounce back here in week three. Hard to believe we're already embarking on our week three journey. This soon in the season. It feels i it feels uh sooner and sooner uh every year.
You can't believe how quickly the the season's moving along. Uh let's start with some buys here, Tara. Who do you want to talk about?
I said buy a bear last week. Um at the time. I did not know that we were facing a nasty weather situation where um everyone, even Justin Jefferson. couldn't really push through from a fantasy perspective outside of the running backs. So I'm giving the Bears a slight minor pass, a minor excuse. But at this point, I know that everyone is panicking on the Bears. And then we have the whole Caleb Williams injury. Luckily not seeming like it's that Massive of an injury. They're saying week to week, but at least we know that it's more of a hamstring. So from a quarterback's perspective, this is not as detrimental as it could have been. But the one guy that I am still saying, hey, we still need to look at this as a buy-low opportunity, it is Coulson Loveland.
So I ask people to hear me out on this because two weeks into the season, Loveland has literally just one catch for three yards, and fantasy managers are willing to. offer a bag of peanuts to the point where they are ready to dropkick him to waivers. I have seen the evidence of people asking, like, do I drop this guy? So perhaps if you're in a shallow league, you don't even have to make this move. You can just wait and see if someone is frustrated and kicks him off to the roster. But in deeper leagues, They're not willing to let go quite yet. And there's valid reason for that.
