So you've got the VAR and the AVAR, the assistant VAR. Now, what's most remarkable about this situation is you've got Matt Donoghue, who was a VAR, used to be a linesman, and then he retrained, started again to become his referee. And then obviously you've got the assistant VAR, who is also a Premier League linesman. So you've got two people who work as assistant referees who should be able to identify when a player is committing a subjective offside
offence. When we get the audio, do we hear the assistant VAR? So we hear both of them and the referee and the assistants that were there as well.
You'll also hear the replay operator for the technical replay operator saying, do you want this replay? Do you want that replay? But yeah, I'm sure we'll hear that tomorrow and we'll see exactly where it seems that they've gone wrong.
