How is Hurricane Lala affecting Hawaii and what are the power outage numbers?
Hurricane Lala, now downgraded to a tropical storm, continues to drench Hawaii. I Man Carrick, Fox News. Torrential rain and dangerous winds are pounding the islands despite narrowly missing a direct landfall.
Hawaii Governor Josh Green is confirming that one person has died in a storm related car accident over in the South Point area of the Big Island. One spot right outside of Hilo on the Big Island has already picked up more than three feet of rain. And lots of the hotels around here are preparing for the possibility of outages. They have flashlights ready for guests just in case. But we know already more than a hundred thousand customers have lost power in Hawaii. Most of those outages of course are over on the big island where roughly 70% of customers who live there are without power and going into the overnight in the dark completely.
Storm Lala's impacts far from over across the islands. At least six people reported dead after rounds of heavy rain bring rivers in Indiana to record levels. Foxweather's Adam Clotts.
And it's really north of the Indianapolis suburbs where we've seen the absolute worst of this. And we've been stuck in a setup where we've seen round after round of heavy showers. In some of these communities, as much as a foot of rain has fallen over the course of the last week.
Why are Indiana’s rivers reaching record levels and what flood risks remain?
All of that, the last several days working its way down into streams and rivers. Ultimately, the largest river there, the White River, which runs through Indianapolis, that is where we've seen a whole lot of this flooding. We're up at the moderate to major stage with a lot of this. Now there is a little bit of good news. Where the heaviest rain may be beginning to wind down, but boy, there are still some showers out there. Something we'll certainly be paying attention to because obviously that ground absolutely saturated, any additional rain will cause a problem, and we're still looking at a risk of flooding.
Hundreds of people evacuated from their homes, FEMA already approving an emergency declaration for Indiana to provide federal disaster assistance. America is listening to Fox News. A sixty day ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran is set to expire tomorrow without a peace deal. Fox's Madeline Rivera reports from Washington.
That ceasefire agreement had been interrupted by multiple days of strikes between the two sides. Writers reports because of that, per an Iranian source, there is now no talk of an extension, as they accused the U.S. of violating the ceasefire agreement.
was over, which was then followed by those strikes. The U.S.

paused its attacks at the end of July in order to give diplomacy some room, administration officials say, but there had been reports that the tit for tat had depleted U.S. munitions
The Trump administration has denied those reports about munitions shortages. The USS Lincoln is set to be replaced by the USS George Washington after having been deployed for more than two hundred forty days. Meanwhile, another oil tanker says it was attacked on Friday while traveling through the Strait of Hormuz. One person is dead, four others wounded during a shooting at an outdoor concert Saturday evening in Lexington, Kentucky. Police responded to Charles Young Park at about Six forty eight PM and reporting no known suspects. Lexington Police Chief Lawrence Weathers asking the public to cooperate with investigators as they search for the person or people responsible.
