President Trump, with those comments earlier today, after the Supreme Court struck down his wide-ranging tariffs, he's now signed an order putting a global 10% tariff on most goods coming into the U.S., which will go into effect on Monday. Earlier today, he blasted the Supreme Court's 6-3 ruling.
Two of his appointees, Neil Gorsuch and Amy Coney Barrett, sided with Chief Justice John Roberts and the court's liberal justices in the ruling. People live in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast preparing for another major storm expected to make impact Sunday into Monday. And forecasters warn it could bring the highest snow totals we've seen in years, with over a foot predicted for New York City.

The mayor of New York, Mamdani, come out and talk about how they are planning to adjust some of their operations starting tomorrow. So you can see here, quote, starting Saturday, we begin preseason. pre-snow operations, New York City Department of Sanitation will move to 12-hour shifts Sunday, with more than 5,000 workers rotating day and night to keep our streets clear, end quote.

to take effect. The Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans overturned the judge's ruling, saying the law gives school boards discretion on how to implement it.
In a statement, the court's majority says in part, we do not know, for example, how prominently the displays will appear, what other materials might accompany them, or how, if at all, teachers will reference them during instruction.
